Pet crematorium

The pet crematorium started at march 2010. The crematorium services include single- and group cremation.

In single cremation the animal is cremated alone and the ashes are collected in the chosen urn. Normally the urns are closed with glue and screws. If you wish to do otherwise you must inform us by phone or fill in a form at the veterinarians.

In group cremation the animals are cremated together. The ashes will be spread at Kuortane pet cemetery.

The pet crematory cooperates with The Takala animal clinic.

Traditional burial

There is also a choice for traditional burial. The animal can be buried at Kuortane pet cemetery or another appropriate place. For burying we have a small digger that fits in tight spaces.

The fee for digging starts at 50 € + 0,60 €/km.

The fee for collecting the animal to be cremated or buried:
- Takala animal clinic 10 €
- Alavus and Kuortane area 20 €
- Other nearby areas 0,60 €/km

Packing and postage of an urn 20 €

The urns will be delivered to the cooperating animal clinic without fee on next delivery.
